Entah tiba-tiba ingin membahas tentang Osaka. Yup, Osaka-sebuah kota di Jepang yang belum pernah saya kunjungi. Mungkin gara-gara dua orang ini, Yusuke dan Hisato Izaki-mantan anggota grup FLAME (boyband asal Jepang) yang berasal dari Osaka. Saya tertarik dengan mereka. Tertarik dengan apapun yang berhubungan dengan mereka. Termasuk Osaka.
Tulisan di bawah ini 100% saya ambil dari web. Seperti sebagian besar orang Indonesia pada umumnya, saya pun memimpikan suatu hari nanti bisa mengunjungi negara yang saya inginkan yaitu Jepang. Siapa tau bisa bertemu juga dengan idola-idola saya yaitu Yusuke dan Hisato Izaki, Hiro dan Takako dari grup SPEED atau Miyuki Yamaguchi-penulis komik Innocent Dragon, favorit saya.
Saya masih belum bisa membayangkan Kota Osaka seperti apa selain melihat dari gambar. Well, ini dia.

Makanan Khas Osaka
Takoyaki
Makanan asal daerah Kansai di Jepang, berbentuk bola-bola kecil dengan diameter 3-5 cm yang dibuat dari adonan tepung terigu diisi potongan gurita di dalamnya.
Okonomiyaki
Makanan Jepang dengan bahan tepung terigu yang diencerkan dengan air atau dashi, ditambah kol, telur ayam, makanan laut atau daging babi dan digoreng di atas penggorengan datar yang disebut teppan.
Kushikatsu
Makanan asal daerah Kansai di Jepang berupa potongan kecil makanan laut, daging dan sayuran yang ditusuk dengan tusukan bambu yang dicelup ke dalam adonan tepung terigu dan dilapisi tepung panir sebelum digoreng di dalam minyak yang banyak. Makanan dinamakan kushikatsu karena merupakan katsu (goreng daging dengan tepung panir) yang ditusuk pada kushi (tusukan bambu).
Udon
Salah satu jenis mi yang sudah dikenal di Jepang sejak dulu, dibuat dari tepung terigu dan berbentuk tebal serta agak lebar.
